San Francisco the first edition of this book was called eat.shop san francisco. it was authored by kaie and stuck to the environs of san francisco proper. by the second edition we decided to get fancy and rename the book eat.shop sf bay area so we could include the east bay and change over authorship to jon. confusion ensued. oi. wondering why this book costs a bit more than other titles? it's because it's a "plus size" edition—meaning there were just too many good things in this city to fit into a 192 page book, we needed 278 pages to paint the whole delicious picture.
