NYC what's the recipe for creating a different type of guide to nyc? take a gaggle of ex-new yorkers and give them eight days to put together a book. this is called guerilla publishing. sure, there were months of research and lists galore to bolster, but ten hooves hitting the streets was what it all came down to. if a restaurant asked us to call their publicist, so they could call our publicist and then discuss with somebody's elses publicist to schedule shooting pictures, that biz went off the list. no time for tom foolery. what we ended up with is a book filled with bizs that are the essence of an intimate nyc. the second edition, the eat.shop crew used this same guerilla methodology and the results are now available!
