Los Angeles after the first title (portland) in the eat.shop series was published in december of 2003, kaie (the creator of the series) decided that doing one city was so fun, she would do another. so she published seattle. since that was a hoot, she set her eat.shop sight on los angeles, where she had lived for many years. the first edition l.a. book came out the fall of 2004. when it came time for a second edition, the authoring torch was handed off to agnes baddoo, a denizen of the city who was hankering to paint her own portrait of a place that she whole-heartedly loves.
